Down Syndrome
When our son Lukkas was one year old we took him to Kim at Divine Wellness, hoping that we could get some answers to his health problems. He was born with Down Syndrome and had a very hard time with food. He was spitting up frequently and not eating very much at all. He also had a heart condition with three open chambers. When we took him to Divine Wellness, we found out he had sensitivities to a variety of foods. We immediately made the suggested changes to his diet and began BIE treatments with him. We soon discovered that he began to eat regularly and to heal. Today at age two and a half, he has no threatening health problems and is doing exceptionally well for his birth condition. Snoring/Sleep Apnea
My six-year-old son was snoring and suffering from terrible sleep apnea. The apnea was so frequent it was frightening to listen to him at night, just waiting for that next breath. Our doctor recommended a tonsillectomy. Instead, we saw Kim. Just three nights after his first session, my son started sleeping as quietly as a kitten, and has never had snoring or apnea since.

Digestive Difficulties
I first met Kim when my two-year old son was having digestive difficulties. It turns out that he had a lot of food sensitivities including wheat and dairy. Autoimmune Disorder
With one of those 101 arthritic, chronic ailments involving the immune system attacking the joints of the body with inflammation, resulting in an inability to be horizontal for more than 4-6 hours, plus lots of other complications of the eyes, heart and digestive system, I decided to have Kim desensitize all food sensitivities (turns out I had more than 40) and this allowed me to stop taking my prescription anti-inflammatories. I'm not cured, but basically I'm not under treatment for the condition any longer. If your immune system is triggering needlessly, get rid of the triggers... it's that simple.

Anaphylaxis
My daughter was diagnosed as an infant with dairy, egg and peanut allergies and would get hives if she was just touched by people who had consumed foods that contained the the allergens (i.e. someone would eat a muffin and then touch her or give her a kiss on the cheek). When the food was accidentally ingested as an ingredient in foods, such as baked goods, she would have the onset of an anaphylactic reaction and we would rush to the emergency. After several BIE treatments with Kim, we had her allergies re-tested by the medical allergist and the scores were significantly lower. We then did a food challenge under the supervision of a medical allergist and had no reactions to baked food containing dairy and egg. In the future we will be doing more food challenges with straight dairy and egg. I believe it is because of the BIE treatments that we have come this far.

Soy Sensitivity
Last year I developed severe allergies to soy. It took me some time to figure out that it was soy and as I restricted my diet more and more the allergic reactions became increasingly concerning with huge welts all over my body and difficulty breathing. At one point, I had an anaphylactic level response. It was very scary. I was fortunate enough to be working with a BIE practitioner, Kim Edmundson in Kitchener, Ontario, at the time and once we identified that the soy was causing the problem she removed it in ONE session. I can now eat all kinds of soy (it is almost everything!). BIE is the most exciting alternative procedure that I have ever encountered - it's miraculous to say the least. And it works!!! Allergic to Everything?!?
When our daughter was a baby and being introduced to solids...it was a nightmare. She was colicky and waking up sometimes hourly through the night. She had hives on her legs, face and arms which eventually developed into eczema. Traditional medicine had no answers for us..."She has a sensitive system...avoid the foods that are bothering her." How do you do that when someone reacts to almost everything? We saw many specialists in Toronto. All offered no help.
Finding our way to you was a God send. Digestive Issues

My son Mike had eczema so severe that his armpits, groin, arm and leg creases were all raw and sticky. He couldn't stop scratching and he was miserable. Night time was the worst. I can’t thank you enough for what you’ve done for my family!!! My 5 year old son had been to several specialists (paediatrician, ENT, paediatric respirologist, immunologist) for his chronic asthma, ear infections and constant throat clearing. Relief from Cold Sores
I went to Kim because I knew a friend who had great success with her children recovering from debilitating allergies. My worst intolerance was to nuts (all nuts, especially peanuts), gelatin and coconut. Every time I would get even a hint of nut or gelatin hidden in something I would get large painful cold sores. Kim treated me about 3 times a year for approx. 2 years and today I am eating ALL nuts and lots of coconut!

Nausea, Vomiting and Lack of Hunger

Ear Problems
I just wanted to inform you that as predicted, my daughter's ear problems are all history! In April, her left ear was pretty bad! They had to "put up the volume" to 40 for her to hear anything (analogy) whereas her right ear was only 5! Now, in August, after "clearing" her milk allergies, both ears are at 5 - completely normal! Dear Kim,
Unfortunately when I first met you my reaction was 'quack', therefore I did not come to see you until I was feeling there was no hope for healing. As someone who has suffered from serious Crohn's and Colitis for years, I am excited about my future. In the past raw produce, especially corn, lettuce and tomatoes caused excruciating pain. Bags Under Eyes and Breathing Problems

Wow is all I can say! As the mother of a 13 year old son I am excited about the improvements in his health. Traditional allergists told us he had no allergies although he sniffled continually and his breathing was very nasal sounding, to the point it affected his speech. Luke continually had dark bags under his eyes as well. Everyone told us it was allergies but the doctors. Nickel, Food Intolerances and Hay Fever
I came to see Kim without really knowing very much about her treatments. I was pleasantly surprised by her explanation of the treatment, the allergy removal procedure itself and her friendliness. Not really realizing that some of my discomfort might have something to do with my diet, Kim tested me for various foods and we discovered a wide array of foods that did not agree with me. Oral Allergy Syndrome and Milk/Wheat Sensitivities
After 5 rough years with my son, and 2 rough years with my daughter, if someone would have told me that my life could be normal, I would have thought that they were crazy! My daughter had oral allergy syndrome so severely that many foods - in all food groups - needed to be avoided. We were supplementing her diet with pills and doing our best to get through each day, but she was not doing well. My son was so sensitive to milk and wheat that he just could not tolerate them. Ice Rink Environmental Allergy
My son plays competitive hockey and we are at the rink 4-5 times a week. Every time I was at the rink, I would immediately develop sinus and chest congestion.
